Map History

Every 30 minutes, an app running on Zor’s iPhone will send a signal to update our current location on our trip. That same location is then recorded as part of the “history” of our trip.

Every four hours, the history of our locations is downloaded to this website and merged with the previously obtained location history. Duplicates are removed and then all of the valid locations are plotted on the map you see here.

The map does not show our current direction, but the trend of the points on the map should provide a good indication of what direction we are traveling in. You can also use the “Last Known Location” information provided on the right hand side to know where we currently are.

You can also click on each point and it will provide you the exact coordinates that were recorded at that location. You can then click on those coordinates to open a separate window with a Google map to that spot.
