August 2020 · A full loop around the entire Nova Scotia coastline
The Plan
The guys originally planned to attend the Groundspeak 20th anniversary event in Seattle, combined with Geowoodstock in Alaska and the Canadian territories. Then COVID happened.
After considering Newfoundland, they settled on exploring the entire coastline of Nova Scotia — partly for the scenery, partly for the lab caches, and partly because it was the only province that would have them.
Beyond lab caches, the trip included specific geocache targets including one on Graves Island.

Day 1
Moncton → Yarmouth
Day 2
Yarmouth → Halifax
Day 3
Halifax → Sydney
Day 4
Sydney → Port Hawkesbury
Day 5
Port Hawkesbury → Moncton
5 days. One province. Zero excuses.
